30-Day Return Policy

You may return most purchases within 30 days of it being successfully delivered to you for refund or exchange. Please note that all returns are subject to inspection and all returns must meet the following requirements:

  1. You must contact store.videomaker Customer Service  before mailing back any products for refund or exchange, so that the return can be authorized and you can be issued an RGA Number.
  2. Once you've submitted a return request, you'll receive an email with an approved Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number or a denial within three to five business days. Reasons or additional instructions will be provided with any denials.
  3. If you are returning a product for reasons of Buyer’s Remorse, then the product(s) must be in brand new,unopened, mint condition.
  4. Products must be sent back with all of the original manufacturer’s packaging and box contents, undamaged and unmarked. Including all box inserts, accessories and warranty card. Also, UPC codes must not be cut from the package.
  5. Return shipments must use a carrier that offers tracking (like UPS). Please avoid non-traceable carriers (like US Postal Service). All items must be returned with the RGA  number that we provide. The RGA will be sent via email. Items returned without an RGA number may experience credit delays.
  6. All products must be mailed inside an outer box/container and adequately protected from damage during transit.
  7. No return will be accepted without an RGA Number on the outside of the box
  8. Any refunds issued are finalized within one to two days from the item being successfully returned to us and everything passing inspection. Please allow seven to 10 days for a refund to be reflected in your account or on your credit card.

Refund Policy: Your refund will be processed seven to 10 days from the date we receive your return. Once your return is processed, you will receive email notification. Store.videomaker.com reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds and/or charge a restocking fee for any product that does not comply with the information found in this return policy.

General or defective returns are accepted for items purchased from store.videomaker.com. We accept general returns up to 30 days after receipt and defective returns up to 90 days. There's no minimum value on returns. Store credit may apply.

Restocking fees are not charged in most cases. Exceptions may include general returns for certain manufacturers or suppliers and products that have been removed or opened from the original manufacturer packaging.

Clearance/Liquidation/Closeout items may only be returned if found to be defective or damaged upon delivery.

Qualifications for a general return:

  • Return requested within 30 days of delivery
  • Must be in resalable condition Returned merchandise must be in original condition and include all factory packed accessories and paperwork (e.g. battery, charger, cords, straps, unmarked warranty card, manuals, etc.), in the original manufacturer box and packaging with UPC, barcode, and serial number intact.
  • Must be free from scratches and/or defects
  • Must not have been installed (software)
  • Must be in the original manufacturer’s box and packaging
  • May not have any writing on the original packaging
  • May not be missing pieces
  • Must not be a clearance/liquidation/closeout item 


What is an RGA and how long will it take to receive it after I set up my return?

An RGA is the Return Goods Authorization number that we use to help track your return. This identifies the return and associates it with your order number. Please allow three to five business days to process and issue an RGA.

Vitec Group: Ordered then Cancelled:

Any Vitec Order that is placed, then cancelled will incur a 25 percent restocking fee. No exceptions.

All UNOPENED Hardware Returns:

Unopened hardware may be returned up to 30 days from the date of invoice.

0-30 days from invoice date:

A Dealer Credit Memo will be issued once the product has been returned and verified as unopened/unused*. Any shipping and payment processing fees will be deducted from the total of the credit memo before it is issued to the reseller. 

After 30 days from invoice date: NO returns.

OPENED Blackmagic Design Hardware Only Returns:

Opened products may be returned up to 5 days from date of invoice for credit only.

Zero to five days from invoice date:

Products that are opened and are not defective* must be returned within five days in order to receive a dealer credit. The credit will be less a 10 percent restocking fee, credit card payment processing fees and shipping charges. 

After five days from invoice date: NO returns.

OPENED Vitec Group Hardware Only Returns:

Out of box failure/defective product within 30 days of the shipment can be swapped out with new product.

 Certain Vitec products may be considered Special Order and a 25 percent restocking fee may be imposed by the Manufacturer.

Post 30 days:

Advised to contact Vitec Groups' service department at 1-800-541-1667 or servicesupport@vitecgroup.com.

 Non-defective products typically have a 25 percent re-stocking fee, but this is subject to change for certain conditions.

1SourceVideo PO Number will be needed so Vitec can issue RMA, even for warranty replacements.

OPENED Other Manufacturers:

No refund or credit will be given for opened product of any kind.

NO Returns:

All other manufacturer products must be handled by the manufacturer DIRECTLY.
